Break bread
made with patience

Artisan sourdough, handcrafted coffee, and a quiet corner of Bose Road where the loaf is always fresh and the morning never rushes.

Our Story

A loaf built
to last

The Sourdough Stop began as a weekend experiment in our kitchen — flour, water, salt, and time. Four years later, we're still doing the same thing, only with more neighbors stopping by.

Every loaf is leavened with a starter that has been alive longer than most recipes. We bake in small batches, use locally milled flour when we can find it, and never rush what time does best.

Come for the bread. Stay for the coffee. Leave with a bag and a reason to come back tomorrow.

How It Works

From starter to slice

01

Feed the starter

Our culture is fed every morning before we open. It's been going since 2021 — same family, different season.

02

Mix & rest

Flour, water, salt, and the starter come together by hand. The dough rests for hours — we don't shortcut fermentation.

03

Shape & proof

Each loaf is shaped and placed in banneton to proof overnight, slow and cool, building flavor and structure.

04

Bake & serve

Into the deck oven at dawn. When the crust cracks and the kitchen smells right, we know it's ready.
